The decision to add Marine Audio to Platinum Audio's existing line of Audio products was no small task.
The question was, what brands will conform to our extremely high standards and best value for money and what brands can deliver and withstand the Harsh Marine environment. After two years of testing products three product ranges came up on top. Rockford Fosgate, Cerwin vega and Clarion.

Source Units and Amplifiers

For Source Units we chose Rockford Fosgate and Clarion as they offer the widest true marine ranges with wired waterproof remotes. Both Clarion and Rockford Fosgate offer OEM integration and the use of multiple remotes on one unit. Ipod and usb interfaces as standard and the best sound quality. Muliple Line out options and a SIRIUS satellite ready tuner.

For amplifiers we chose Rockford Fosgate and Cerwin Vega. Cerwin Vega features our entry to mid level ranges and Rockford Fosgate will cover the top of the range installs.

Speakers and Subwoofers

Again Rockford Fosgate will be used in our top of the range installs and Cerwin Vega offers great value for someone on a budget.
